Cartridge Filtration

Cartridge filtration would possibly be the widest and most recognisable filtration application of all filtration methods. Cartridge filtration is simple in its implementation, maintenance and cost effectiveness.

cartridge filtration is simple in its implementation, maintenance and cost effectiveness     cartridge filtration is commonly capable of filtering down to 0.1     cartridge filtration can be as complex as medical/laboratory

Cartridge filtration can be as complex as medical/laboratory grade water, drinking water, general filtration right trough to Aquaculture hatchery systems and general treatment systems. Cartridge filtration is commonly capable of filtering down to 0.1 micron and withstanding high or near freezing temperatures, the cartridge filtration system is simple and reliable.

If a reliable impenetrable barrier is a necessity for water filtration needs then Cartridge filtration is the one.

Cartridge filters are durable, they don't split and  when it counts they can be relied upon. When the highest quality for water treatment is required Cartridge filters are always the last line of defence.

Many sizes of cartridges and cartridge housing are available for almost any application.

WRA manufacture a truly industrial marine cartridge filter system and we now have the Arctic cartridge filter range.

WRA horizontal filter system is designed in modules, each module capable of filtering 15-20,000 litres per hour. The filters are simple and practical in design. Being horizontal they overcome many of the issues generally associated with cartridge filters.

Some of these points include

  • Waist height for easy removal.

  • Horizontal for easy removal. No need to lift wet heavy cartridges high in the air.

  • No risk of dropping rubbish/debris down the treated water port when removing elements.

  • Magazine loaded, 8 elements at a time.

  • Easily able to change micron filtering capacity without any modifications

  • Full HDPE housing with stainless steel clamp band for total compatibility with marine environments

  • Fully assembled and plumbed, including all necessary valves, pressure gauges and pipework, ready to install and use.

  • The Arctic filter range includes a huge range of replacement elements of varying sizes and micron ratings. A huge range of filter housing including the industry standard  10", 20", Big White 10" and Big White 20", including Polyspun, Pleated and wound elements.
